Choose material for the operating conditions
Dimensions and function are the starting point for plastic and rubber parts. Include temperature, load and chemical exposure requirements when they affect the material specification.
Examples include bushings, shaped parts, injection-moulded components and seals. Metal and rubber combinations can also be assessed for individual applications.
Consider tooling, samples and series demand together
A new part may require a manufacturing tool. Tooling costs, sample approval and delivery batches should be considered together to define a clear quotation.
